In Brovary on the 27th of April there was a significant event – charity swimming competition dedicated to the memory of the famous Brovary specialist, Honoured Coach of Ukraine Gennadiy Georgievich Shein. Charity action was held in support of wards of the Inna Foundation – residents of Brovarshchyna, struggling with cancer. And organised such a wonderful tournament – specialists of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Brovary City Council under the guidance of the head of the department Dmytro Rozhkov.
Under the terms of the competition athletes could make a charitable contribution to support the activities of the Inna Foundation. And the Foundation undertook to use all collected funds for its statutory activities – to help people in the treatment of terrible cancer diseases!
The competition, in which swimmers from Kyiv region took part, was held in the swimming pool “Kupava”. Athletes competed for prizes in ten disciplines. And the fight on the water lanes unfolded not joking! The organisers of the sports tournament and charity event prepared and held the event at a very high level! A total of UAH 30,000 was raised! All funds have been received and transferred to the Foundation’s current account in accordance with the established procedure!
It should be noted that this is not the first goodwill action of our long-time friends and partners!
