PRINCIPLE

of the VI International Festival-Competition of Children and Youth

Creativity “International Charity Festival” Inna-Brovary “

1. General principles

1.1.  Regulations on the International Festival-Competition for Children and Youth Creativity “International Charity Festival” Inna-Brovary “(hereinafter: the Regulations) defines the procedure for organizing and conducting the international festival-competition for children and youth creativity International Charity Festival “Inna-Brovary.

1.2.  The main goal of the festival-contest is the development of the charitable movement among youth, public involvement in the problems of cancer, professional music, choreographic skills, vocal performances, ensemble play, improvement of the professional level of leaders of clubs of cultural and artistic institutions, the opening of talented performers, etc.

1.3.  The festival is held once a year.

1.4.  All charitable contributions collected from conducting the festival-contest are spent on statutory activities of the charitable organization “Charitable Foundation” Inna “- assistance to people with cancer.

1.5.  The Charitable Foundation “Inna Charitable Foundation” must officially disclose data on the amount of donation collected during the festival-contest.

1.6.  By the decision of the organizers, the requirements of the Regulations may change, which participants of the festival-competition are notified about in advance.

2. Organization of the festival-competition

2.1.  The charitable organization “Charitable Foundation” Inna “, Brovary City Council, Brovary City Children’s Music School, public organization ” Velvet Wonderland ” are organizers of the festival-competition for children and youth creativity of the International Charity Festival” Inna-Brovary “.

2.2.  Organizers have the right to participate in the organization and holding of the festival-contest with the consent of other state bodies of executive power, institutions, organizations of various forms of self-government who wish to assist in its organization and conducted.

2.3.  The VI International Festival-Competition of Children and Youth Creativity “International Charity Festival” Inna-Brovary ” will be held on October 16-17, 2021 in the city of Brovary.

3. Conditions of participation in the festival

3.1.  Students’ groups of primary specialized art schools (schools of aesthetic education), out-of-school institutions, which are in the field of culture and education management and other forms of self-organization are invited to participate in the festival.

3.2.  The program of the festival consists of competitive performances in the nominations:

– “vocals”:

– academic,

– variety,

  – folk.

An integral part of the vocal nominee contestants:

1 – solo;

2 – duet;

3 – vocal groups (up to 10 people);

 4 vocal groups (more than 10 people).

“instrumental performance”:

– wind instruments (flute, flute block, clarinet, saxophone);

– folk instruments (bayan, accordion);

– string-pinch instruments (bandura, domra, guitar)

– string instruments (violin, cello);

– piano;

An integral part of the “instrumental performance” nominee contestants:

1 – solo;

2 – duet

3- teams (up to 10 people),

4- teams (more than 10 people);

Choreography:

– classical choreography,

– folk-stage dance,

– dance of the plot direction,

 – modern choreography,

 – sports ballroom dance (Western European and Latin American dance)).

  The quantitative composition of the Choreography groups:

1 – solo

2 – duet

3 – small form (3-7 persons)

4 – formation (8-24 persons)

5 – production (25 and more people)

 “original genre”

-circus art,

-clowning,

-sports freestyle, etc..

  The quantitative composition of the Original genre groups:

1 – solo;

2 – duet;

3 – troupe

“Fine arts”:

-painting (watercolor, gouache, pastel, oil paints, acrylic, mixed media);

-graphics (pencil, ink, pen nib, pen)

-three-dimensional works (plasticine, clay, natural materials, plastic, etc.)

-decorative and applied arts (batik, painting, Easter painting, ceramics, embroidery, weaving, soft toy, others).

The quantitative composition of the Fine Arts groups:

1 – individually;

2 – collective work (2 or more participants).

“Theatrical art and artistic word”:

-mini-performance, sketch, interlude, stand-up, blogging, etc .;

-plastic performance, one-man show;

-fable, prose, poetry, group reading, etc .

The quantitative composition of the Theatrical art and artistic word groups:

1-solo;

2-duet;

3-bands;

3.3.  The participants of the festival are divided into age categories:

Nomination “Instrumental Performance” and “Vocal”:

“Baby” – up to 6 years old;

 first: 7 – 9 years;

 second: 10-12 years old;

 third: 13-15 years;

 fourth: 16+

 fifth: mixed

“Choreography” and “Original Genre” nomination:

“Baby” – up to 6 years old;

 first: 6-9 years old;

second: 10-13 years old;

 third: 14-17 years;

 fourth: 18+

 fifth: mixed

“Fine Art” nomination:

“Baby” ( together with mum ) – up to 6 years old;

 first: 7 – 10 years old;

second: 11-13 years old;

 third: 14-17 years;

 fourth: 18+

 fifth: mixed (teamwork)

Theatrical art and artistic word nomination:

Age category (except “blogging”):

“Baby” – up to 6 years old;

 first: 7-9 years old;

second: 10-12 years old;

 third: 13-15 years;

 fourth: 16+

 fifth: mixed

Age category (“blogging”):

 first: 8-10 years old;

second: 11-12 years old;

 third: 13-14 years;

 fourth: 15+

The age category in the teams for all nominations is determined by the majority of participants in one of the age categories (except for the mixed age category).

3.4.  The program of performance of participants in the nominations “vocal” and “instrumental performance” is one composition with the total duration of sounding up to 5 minutes.  In the nomination “vocals”:

– academic vocals – with live support or a capella;

– pop and folk – with live support, a capella or with a quality instrumental phonogram on an electronic media (flash drives)

3.5.  Duration of one performance in the nominations “choreography” and “original genre”:

– for the team – up to 5 minutes,

– for soloists, duets – up to 3 minutes.

3.6.  In the day of the performance, the contestant must have a duplicate of his musical accompaniment (on a flash drive).

3.7.  In case of exceeding the time limit of the musical composition, the musical accompaniment is stopped.

3.8. In the nomination “Fine Arts” in the types of competition “painting” and “graphics” works are performed on paper, format 30 cm x 40 cm, paper passport width 5-6 cm. The size of the work performed on the canvas (necessarily on a stretcher) – at the request of the participant. For the type of competition “three-dimensional works” the size of works is set no more than 50 cm x 50 cm.

The competition work is accompanied by a label printed on a computer, size 5×10 cm, placed on the back of the work and contains the following information:

  1. Work title
  2. Last name, first name of the contestant
  3. Age
  4. Educational institution
  5. Contact phone

No more than two works from one contestant (optional) in each direction of the contest will be submitted to the competition.

The works submitted to the competition will not be returned. They can be used at exhibitions, auctions and other charity events at the request of the organizers of the festival-competition.

3.9. In the nomination “theatrical art and fine arts” performers and groups of all genres and types of theatrical art are invited.

Performance duration:

  • mini-performance, sketch, interlude, stand-up – up to 15 minutes
  • blogging – live performance on any topic – up to 3 minutes.
  • plastic performance, one-man show – up to 15 minutes
  • fable, prose, poems, group reading – up to 10 minutes.

Phonograms, videos are sent to the Foundation’s e-mail (fond-inna@ukr.net). Have a duplicate on electronic media (flash drives) on the day of the performance.

4. Conditions of the festival-competition

4.1. The arrival and departure of the participants of the festival are carried out at the expense of the organization of the sender or at his own expense.

4.2. An application for participation in competitive auditions (sample is attached) is sent to address fond-inna@ukr.net with the mark «International Charity Festival« Inna-Brovary »».

4.3. The application is accompanied by: a copy of the birth certificate or passport of the participant, as well as a music file for the performance. Applications without a music file will not be considered. The musical track is signed (one performance) by the contestant’s name.

4.4. Applications are accepted within the established deadline determined by the organizing committee of the festival-contest.

4.5 Application form according to the decision of the organizing committee may vary.

4.6. To participate in the festival-contest contestants are invited to make a charitable contribution.

The size of the charitable contribution will be for one performance.

In the nominations “vocal” and “instrumental performance”:

– solo, duets: 300 UAH per person;

– teams up to 10 people: 200 UAH per person;

– collectives more than 10 people: 180 UAH per person.

For each subsequent performance a contribution of 50% of the starting fee is paid.

In the nominations “choreography” and “original genre”:

– solo, duets: 300 UAH per person;

– small form: 250 UAH per person;

– formation (8-24 people): 200 UAH per person;

– production (25 people and more): 180 UAH per person.

For each subsequent performance a contribution of 50% of the starting fee is paid.

In the nomination “Fine Arts“:

-“baby”, I, II, III age categories – UAH 250 for each work,

-IV age category -300 UAH for each work;

– collective work – 200 UAH for each participant.

In the nomination “Theatrical art and artistic word“:

-solo, duet – UAH 300.00. for each participant,

-teams – UAH 200.00. for each participant;

4.7. Charitable contributions are deposited on a current account:

Purpose of payment: charitable contribution within the framework of the International Charity Festival “Inna-Brovary”

In case of refusal of the participant from participation in the competition, the CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION DOES NOT RETURN!

5. Organizing committee and jury

5.1. For organization of the festival-competition and its holding an organizational committee is created (hereinafter – the Organizing Committee) with the participation and agreement of representatives of the organizers, other educational and creative institutions by the invitation.

5.2. The organizing committee is responsible for solving creative, organizational, administrative and other issues related to the preparation and holding of the festival.

5.3. To assess the performances of the participants of the festival and determine the winners, the organizers create a jury consisting of leading specialists in the field of music and circus arts, choreography, fine and theatrical arts, television on request.

5.4. The jury’s decision is final.

6. Organization of the festival-competition

6.1. Listening and viewing of the participants are public.

6.2. The term and the city of holding the festival-competition are informed to the participants in advance.

6.3 The Sending Party pay expenses of travel, accommodation and meals.

6.4 The head of the team is responsible for the life and health of children. Creative groups and guests of the festival must have a number of attendants who guarantee the care of personal belongings, concert costumes, team requisites and the safety of the participants.

  Organizers are not responsible for risk related performances. Participants are responsible for compliance with safety rules.

  It is strictly forbidden to use open fire, water, animals, cutting and prickly objects during the performance.

6.5 The principle comes into force from the date of its adjustment and approval.

7. Awarding winners

7.1. All contest participants are awarded with medals and diplomas. In addition, winners receive other awards.

7.2. To encourage contestants, special prizes of the founders and sponsors of the event can be established.

7.3. The highest award of the festival – the Grand Prix competition – is awarded in each “nomination” separately to the absolute winner for the brightest and most professional performance, regardless of the chosen genre and age category. The number of Grand Prix may be increased by the decision of the organizing committee

7.4. At the end of the festival there will be a gala concert with winners and guests of the festival.

8. Financial support of the festival-competition

8.1. The funding of the festival is carried out at the expense of the charitable contributions of the contest participants, sponsor organizations, patrons and other sources provided by the current legislation.
