Desire to live - DNA vaccine is a breakthrough in oncology | Inna Foundation

Oncologists continue to work on drugs that can stop cancer! In the last 50 years, medicine has come a long way, so the survival of patients with cancer is increasing in many countries.

Now the whole medical world is watching a unique joint US-Belarusian project. DNA testing of the Elenagen vaccine is underway as part of this project. The vaccine was developed by a famous American scientist, biologist Alexander Schneider. And clinical trials are held in Belarus. The results of the study are reported on the website of the “N. N. Alexandrov National Cancer Centre Of Belarus”

The study involved dozens of patients with aggressive cancers, such as triple-negative breast cancer, chemoresistant ovarian cancer, metastatic gastric and pancreatic cancer. The average life expectancy of these aggressive malignancies is one year. Unfortunately, they are not amenable to standard treatments. With the help of a computer program, patients are divided into two groups. The first group undergoes a standard treatment protocol. The second is chemotherapy in combination with the Elenagen DNA vaccine.

According to scientists, the vaccine showed a unique result for all patients with chemoresistant ovarian cancer and three times negative breast cancer. Experts call it a breakthrough. Some patients’ malignancies and metastases disappeared. Even in the case of surgery, no live cancer cells were found in the distant material. Elenagen is easily tolerated by patients without side effects. The drug enhances the effects of chemotherapy and, importantly, does not make it more toxic to humans! What a rarity for anticancer treatment.

So far, doctors are cautious in their predictions. Which is understandable – cancer is a very insidious disease. However, patients with diagnoses such as triple-negative breast cancer and chemoresistant ovarian cancer have a chance of overcoming the disease!
