Gestalt therapy is one of the many areas of psychotherapy. This type of therapy is based on an experimental-phenomenological approach and helps to develop self-awareness. The purpose of Gestalt therapy is to create and strengthen a holistic image of the personality of the participant. Svitlana Dublenich conducted a session of unusual therapy with the Foundation’s wards. Svetlana has been studying psychology for many years and pays special attention to Gestalt therapy.

The lesson was conducted according to the method of the candidate of psychological sciences MA Panfilova “Cactus”. As Svitlana notes: “This method of diagnosing personality was originally proposed for children. However, adults will not be superfluous to learn more about themselves. Not always a person can share their feelings and experiences and here the picture can always come to the rescue. Drawings have long been used in psychology as a way to identify features of a person’s character or his emotional state at the moment.

During the session, the participants of the lesson, characterizing the drawings, determined their self-esteem, their creative potential, inner harmony.

This is the first such lesson, but it brought a lot of pleasure to those present. And, of course, it wasn’t without tea and a heart-to-heart conversation after class.

Inna Charitable Foundation thanks Svetlana Dublenich for an exciting lesson and psychological help to the Foundation’s wards!
