Charitable Foundation “Inna” continues to prepare for the New Year! The preparation takes place within the framework of the Rehabilitation program, during art-therapeutic sessions – the Foundation’s wards make gifts and holiday souvenirs with their own hands! At the next class we made cheerful snowmen! And not just ordinary ones, but glowing ones!
Snowmen are a widespread character known since ancient times! In Slavic mythology, snowmen and snowwomen occupied a prominent place! It is known that in the Middle Ages snowmen were realistic sculptures made of snow. Christian and mythological characters were popular. Many descriptions of such snow sculptures have been preserved. Nowadays snowmen are made of different materials – glass, paper, plastic, wood. And in the office of the Foundation, during the class, snowmen were made using foamiran, twine, various decorations and glue. But the highlight of our souvenirs were the lights placed inside the figures. Thus, snowmen can be used as holiday garlands! You can decorate your home, office, put a snowman under the Christmas tree or even on the holiday table! Glowing snowman will make the holiday cozier and more fun!
