One of the most vivid Ukrainian literary characters is Solokha, the mother of blacksmith Vakula and a witch, from the novel The Night Before Christmas. The colorful heroine of the story combines both positive and negative aspects. But it is unlikely that she evokes negative feelings in readers. Quite the contrary.
At the next scheduled art therapy session, it was decided to make a souvenir toy – Solokha. The Foundation’s wards, who gathered for a scheduled art therapy session, were creative in their approach to the task. Using simple materials – cardboard, glue, pieces of fabric, various decorations, relying on their experience in needlework, creativity and desire to show their imagination, our craftsmen managed to do a great job.
The lesson was held at the Foundation’s office under the guidance of Lyudmila Magura.
The Foundation continues its work!
