News - Art therapy: foamine flowers | Inna Foundation

During the next art therapy session, the Foundation’s wards learnt how to work with foamiran. Foamiran is a special decorative material used in needlework. The peculiarity of foamed rubber (another name of foamiran) is that this material easily takes and keeps the required shape when heated. Therefore, it is willingly used in the creation of panels, paintings, holiday cards, hairpins, hair hoops and other decorations. Foamiran is quite practical! Even in the rain your jewellery will not lose its shape and will not fall apart.

Under the guidance of Lyudmila Magura, the organisation’s wards made flowers. This is interesting and fun work that requires some manual dexterity and attention! This kind of activity helps to relieve stress and raises the mood. And the result of the activity can be seen on the photos – the decorative flowers turned out to look like real live flowers!

We continue our activities!
