The Foundation’s staff are constantly studying and practicing new approaches to art therapy. Neurographics is no exception. Several years ago, the Foundation’s wards were already engaged in this method. Nevertheless, let us remind you that neurographics is a form of creativity that helps to identify and understand the essence of a problem and find the right solution through drawing according to a special algorithm. It is believed that by drawing certain lines and shapes, a person “unlocks” their feelings, begins to better understand hidden thoughts and problems, and finds a way to solve such problems correctly. The term “neurographics” is formed from two components: neuron (nerve) and grapho (to write, to draw).
Scientists have already proven that drawing is closely related to the neuroprocesses that take place in the human brain. This means that by drawing certain shapes and lines, it is possible to exert the desired influence on these processes. In addition, this exercise relieves stress and allows the nervous system to unload.
A neurographics class was held at the Foundation’s office under the guidance of Svitlana Dublenich. Svitlana has been working with our Foundation for a long time, so after acquiring skills and practice in neurographics, she decided to share her experience. The Foundation’s wards listened attentively to the recommendations of the class leader and diligently completed the assigned task.
At the end of the art therapy session, the participants shared their emotions and noted how much they enjoyed the work they had done. And that’s important too!
The Inna Foundation continues its work!
