According to legend, before leaving our world, Siddhartha Gautama, called the Buddha, invited the animals to visit him. Only the Bull, Tiger, Rat, Dog, Goat, Rabbit, Cat, Snake, Dragon, Horse, Pig and Monkey responded to the call. Appreciating their loyalty Buddha decided to give each animal a whole year, which these animals were to accompany. And the coming year 2024 will be held under the sign of the Dragon in the Chinese calendar! Of course, modern people have little faith that a certain sign of the Chinese calendar affects the future, but it’s more fun that way!
In the office of the Inna Foundation for Art Therapy under the guidance of Ludmila Magura it was decided to create a composition dedicated to the master of the coming year – the Dragon! Although, “Dragon” is too fierce sounding, as in fact it turned out to be a cute Drakosha. To create a cheerful composition we used previously made New Year trees from twine. And dragons were made of walnut shells, threads and wire. Such a composition can be given to friends, and you can decorate your home with original crafts! The New Year is coming soon!
