News - Art therapy: twine pots | Inna Foundation

Italian Spaghetto is not only a well-known pasta variety all over the world. The same name is given to a thin strong thread – twine, also called “string”. Widely used in everyday life, the rope, it turns out, can be used as a material for creating magnificent planters – decorative vases or baskets for anything, for example, flowers, small things.

At this art therapy class, within the framework of the Rehabilitation project, in the office of the Inna Foundation, under the guidance of Lyudmila Magura, the Foundation’s wards mastered a new direction in handmade creativity – they made vases and baskets from twine.

The task is not as easy as it might seem to some. In order for the conceived product to turn out to be of high quality, a certain skill, sleight of hand and imagination are needed. Self-confidence and creativity have become an important factor in successful activities. The conceived products turned out no worse than those of professional handmade craftsmen!

Charitable Foundation “Inna” continues its activities!
