What is the difference between a panel and a painting? It’s simple – when creating paintings, paints are used. And the panels are “painted” with any materials, objects.

The history of the panel goes back thousands of years. The first panel paintings were created in ancient Greece, then in the Roman Empire. Over time, this type of art has spread throughout the world.

In the office of the Inna Foundation, within the framework of the Rehabilitation project, a lesson was held at which the Foundation’s wards created panels. First of all, the participants in the art therapy session prepared the basis for the future painting. Fabric was glued onto cardboard, then, using a stencil, an outline of the image was applied, which was decorated with buttons and beads. Well, then, the finished panel was fixed in a frame and the work is finished – the panel can be hung on the wall!

Such activities bring pleasure and are a good way to relieve stress. In addition, it develops motor skills of hands and creativity of thinking! Nice way to work and relax!
