The art of making kansashi has a long history. Kansashi is an ancient Japanese woman’s jewelry that was not just beautiful hair clips, but also signaled to others about the age, social status of their mistress. In addition, kansashi must have been in harmony with the clothes and eye color of the Japanese.

In the office of the Foundation during the next art therapy session, the wards of the organization under the leadership of Lyudmila Magura learned the skills of creating kanzashi. For this purpose, satin tapes, glue, threads were used. Work required care and attention. But the weekly sessions of the Rehabilitation Program have taught the masters of gathering and confidence. Therefore, all have coped with the task. And as a result of the work – excellent kansashi from Ukrainian handmade experts!
