The horseshoe has been considered an important and powerful talisman for humans since ancient times. In ancient times, and even today, people believe that the presence of a horseshoe in the house will bring prosperity and protect against evil spirits and misfortunes.

At this art therapy class, the Foundation’s wards made horseshoes for good luck. For this, fairly simple materials were used – cardboard, colored threads, glue. And to decorate the horseshoes, natural products were selected – beans, seeds, dried berries, vermicelli, wheat, lentils, spikelets and ordinary sacking.

Such activities have a good effect on fine motor skills of the hands. Neurologists say that tactile sensations have a beneficial effect on memory, develop attentiveness, imagination, and calm the nervous system.

The session was fun and productive. And now the magic horseshoes will take their place in the apartments. It is not yet clear how such crafts drive away evil spirits in modern times, but the fact that they please the eyes and give a good mood is a fact!
