Today, August 14, Christians celebrate the Carnage of the precious trees of the life-giving Cross of the Lord. This big holiday is also called Honey Savior or Makovei. This holiday has a long history. And it is considered one of the most important in Christianity.

Just today, another art therapy class was held in the Foundation’s office. Therefore, taking into account the peculiarities of the day, it was decided to make flower arrangements.

Ikebana is the Japanese art of arranging cut flowers, shoots in special vessels, as well as the ability to place correctly these compositions in the interior. In previous art therapy classes, the Foundation’s wards have already learned how to make original vases and baskets from twine. Now these products have been supplemented with spikelets, poppy stalks, flowers and, as a result, they have received real festive flower arrangements that will decorate the homes of the Foundation’s wards today.

We continue our activities!
