Generally, a mandala is a ritual image in some human cultures, which is an image of a circle with various complex patterns. As a rule, a mandala has a sacred meaning and is used for certain ritual events.
At the same time, mandalas are also used for other purposes. Drawing or coloring complex patterns allows a person to relax, to distract from external problems, therefore, psychologists highly recommend mandala coloring classes as art therapy, to relieve stress and tension.
Today in the office of the Foundation at the isotherapeutic classes the Foundation’s wards colored mandalas with colored pencils. This activity does not require special skills, but requires concentration and accuracy. And the main thing is that such an art-therapy session brings pleasure to the participants. This is also important!
The next session will be held next Wednesday, April 2. We invite everyone to attend!
