The Inna Foundation continues its activities!

In the office of the Foundation, another lesson was held with the wards of the organization under the program “Rehabilitation Treatment”. Very often, such classes are prepared and conducted by those who, quite recently, themselves needed such help. And this is no accident! After all, people who have been treated for cancer better than others understand the psychological problems that appear in the course of the fight against cancer, and ways to solve them.

This time the topic of the lesson was “Neurographics”. Neurographics is a modern method of working with the subconscious with the help of art therapy, using the principles of neurophysiology and psychology.

In our daily life, we act according to certain patterns laid down in our subconscious by certain repetitive actions. For example, waking up in the morning, turn on the light in the room, put the kettle on the stove, leave the house, check the water and gas taps, close the door, and so on. By repeating such actions daily, we strengthen the neural connections of the brain, and such patterns of behavior are fixed in our subconscious. This is good, on the one hand, however, in non-standard life situations, such an algorithm of behavior can greatly interfere with our struggle with problems! Because we cannot quickly reconfigure to other rules of the game. It is very difficult to change behavior patterns by willpower, and sometimes for some people it is impossible on their own! For example, it is difficult to quit smoking even for a cancer patient, although the patient is well aware that smoking in many types of cancer is fraught with death! In this case, neurographics can help – through the drawing process that is understandable to everyone, this method of art therapy removes restrictions in our subconscious, removes internal conflicts, creates new neural connections and finds ways to solve problems that are non-standard for our brain!

Olena Sushinska held a lesson with the wards of the Foundation. The theme of the neurographic session: “Poppy is a symbol of incredible possibilities.” The participants of the lesson revealed the meaning of the poppy symbol in different traditions. Everyone was looking for and found something new. This way of training calms down well, gives a positive charge and faith in one’s own strength!

We continue to help!
