At the pre-Easter art therapy session, the charity’s wards, who came to the Foundation’s office, were decoupaging Easter eggs.
Easter eggs are an ancient Christian attribute. The egg symbolizes the Lord’s tomb, and the traditional red color is the blood shed by Christ for human sins.
In modern times, painting Easter eggs (with ornaments based on the shape of an egg) is a very common form of special decorative art among Slavic and other peoples.
To skillfully decorate Easter eggs, craftsmen used colored napkins, protein, and brushes. First, they would select an artifact from napkins, stick it on the egg itself, and then use a brush to cover the egg with protein for beauty and strength.
Now you can give Easter eggs to your friends – it’s a Christian custom!
