News - Oncoscreening project. New alarming survey results | Inna Foundation

The Inna Foundation continues to implement its unique Oncoscreening project, created to protect women from mortal danger and aimed at early detection of possible oncological diseases! We have already reported on the first results of this work on our website. Today we are publishing the results of a survey of the second group of Brovarian women for predisposition to a life-threatening disease – cervical cancer.

So, according to the results of screening, 21% of the total number of the second group of women examined by specialists showed deviations from the norm. Moreover, 17% of this number revealed risks of developing cancer: dangerous oncogenic HPV (human papillomaviruses) were found in 14% of women, which can cause the development of cervical cancer, and 3.5% showed atypical changes in cells that also predispose to cancer ! In addition, another 3.5% were found to have undesirable bacterial lesions of the body.

Such results completely coincide with the results of the first group of those examined in December 2021! And we can already say that 17-20% of women are carriers of oncogenic HPV or have other atypical diseases of the cervix that increase the risk of developing cancer! That is why cancer screening is so important to prevent the “silent killer” (this is what specialists call this type of cancer), which is what the experts of the World Health Organization say!

For medical services for the examination of the second group of Brovarian women, the Inna Foundation paid UAH 20,160. A total of 98 women have been examined since the start of the project! The Inna Foundation has already used UAH 70,560 to implement the project!

We remind you once again – according to medical statistics, doctors detect HPV of oncogenic types in almost all women with cervical cancer! Therefore, oncoscreening is not just an examination! This is a reliable way for women to protect themselves from a terrible deadly disease!

Check and protect yourself!
