In Brovary, on August 24, in honor of the Independence Day, a grandiose and unique for the city charitable sports event took place! “Brovary Independence Race” – that’s what its organizers called: Brovary City Council, the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, public organizations “B.I.G.”, “Ya. Hromada “,” NORDIK BROVARY “and event coordinator Daria Demeshok.
Several hundred athletes, divided by age groups and distances, took part in the celebration of sports, kindness and mercy! Songs, friendly atmosphere, smiles absolutely did not prevent the participants of the competition to really compete and fight for victory! In addition to athletes who regularly take part in such sporting events, the race was attended by leaders and employees of the city administration, departments of the city council, deputies of various levels.
In order to prevent cancer at this charity event the Inna Foundation presented a popular brochure “Oncology: Problems and Solutions”. Disease statistics? What factors influence the development of cancer? How to prevent cancer? You can find answers to such questions in this little book. Brochures on a charitable basis are published by a long-term partner of the Inna Foundation – Brovary advertising company “Studio Idea”.
We can say unequivocally – the main goals of the sports event, which are the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, the development of grassroots sports and fundraising for the fight against cancer, have been fulfilled in full! Following the results of the charity race, the organizers of the event transferred UAH 65,000 to the account of the Inna Foundation! All funds will be directed to the fight against the “plague” of the XXI century – cancer!
