Since November 22, for the first time in Brovary, and, perhaps, in Ukraine, a special program of the Inna Foundation for the mass diagnostics of a dangerous oncological disease among residents of Brovarshchina has entered the active phase. We believed and worked hard for this project to take place! And now a long-term dream has come true!
The “Oncoscreening” project is not just about early detection of a possible disease. With this project, we want to instill in people with cancer vigilance! People who have come into contact with cancer know for sure – you begin to appreciate life only when dangerous health problems, like cancer, appear. Work, vanity and everything else somehow instantly loses its meaning. Why are you waiting? After all, you just need to control your health. And, as we constantly write on our website, the best method of fighting cancer is prevention and cancer alertness. Cancer vigilance is not a paranoid fear of illness, but preventive measures that the World Health Organization suggest that every person undergoes early detection of a dangerous disease. We start by screening for cervical cancer, a terrible female disease.
We can confidently say that such a mass screening examination has not been carried out in any city in the country! A list has already been drawn up for a pilot project, which includes more than 100 residents of Brovarshchyna. Diagnostics will be performed at the Brovary office of the CSD laboratory. We ask all those taking part in the survey, if possible, to inform us about their wishes, comments, suggestions by calling 067-788-94-33 and to our email address – fond-inna@ukr.net.
We want and are ready to develop our cancer screening project. After all, more than 200 types of oncological diseases are known in the world. And a lot of them can most likely be avoided just with the help of prevention and screening!
We invite partners, sponsors, who wish to take part in the “Oncoscreening” project for cooperation. We need your help and support. Only together we can stop the “plague” of the XXI century, which takes away more than 10 million lives in the world every year – cancer!
