Ivan Hryhorovych was born in the village of Bohatyrka, Stavyshchenskyi district, Kyiv region. He has lived in Brovary since 1990. He worked as a carpenter, a parquet worker at a woodworking plant, and in a housing office.
In 2007, Ivan was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer. He was treated at the Kyiv Regional Oncology Center. He underwent surgery and radiation therapy.
In 2023, the dangerous disease returned – the man was diagnosed with lung cancer! Ivan Hryhorovych is undergoing treatment at the Bakhmut Intensive Care Clinic (in Brovary). He has undergone six courses of chemotherapy. Now the doctors recommend to undergo a high-quality CT scan to monitor the course of treatment. Due to his difficult financial situation, Ivan turned to the Inna Charitable Foundation for help.
