Lyudmila was born in the town of Zolotonosha, Cherkasy region. After graduating from high school, she entered the Kremenchuk State Polytechnic University with a degree in ecology. But after graduation, she retrained as an accountant. For more than three years she worked in the education department of the Zolotonosha regional state administration.
She has been living in Brovary since 2006. The last place of work was the administrator of the “Tonus” fitness center.
Lyudmila felt unwell for a long time. Several years ago, during another examination, an X-ray showed the presence of two incomprehensible spots in the lungs. Doctors suspected tuberculosis, but after many months of examinations, this diagnosis was not confirmed. Over time, fatigue, lethargy, and apathy accumulated. Last autumn Lyudmila got really bad. Insomnia and irritability developed. The doctor who she turned to did not find anything suspicious. But after a while, the state of health worsened completely. A high temperature has risen. Doctors took an X-ray. And on it they saw a large formation in the lungs. It became clear that the likelihood of having oncology is high. However, neither the National Cancer Institute, nor the Kiev Regional Hospital, where Lyuda turned, could make a diagnosis right away! It took many months! And only in August of this year, the doctors decided on the diagnosis – Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
During the treatment, Lyudmila spent all her savings. Her family, friends, neighbors helped her. The work colleagues well supported her too. But oncology treatment is expensive! And therefore, Lyudmila turned to the Inna Foundation for help.
