Svitlana Agvanivna was born in Rovenky, Luhansk region. She has lived in Brovary since 1977. She worked as an engineer at Kyivshlyakhbud.
In 2015, the Foundation’s ward underwent treatment for uterine cancer. Unfortunately, the troubles associated with cancer did not end there.
In April last year, Svitlana Agvanivna began to suffer from pain in the stomach. Over time, the pain intensified and she had to seek medical help. After an examination at the Kyiv Regional Oncology Centre, doctors made a disappointing diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. This disease requires a long treatment. After a course of chemotherapy, the doctors recommended surgery. The operation is planned to be performed at the National Cancer Institute. But before that, it is necessary to diagnose the body. Given the difficult financial situation, Svitlana Agvanivna turned to the Inna Foundation for help.
