According to the experts of the American research center Moffitt Cancer, bloating may indicate women’s ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer is sometimes rightly called “silent cancer” due to the fact that women do not feel the disease until the very late stage of this terrible disease. An article in the Daily Express newspaper is devoted to this problem.

Experts warn – with bloating the stomach looks round (swollen), it can be hard to the touch. Often, these symptoms indicate a serious problem. The fact is that ovarian cancer spreads to the peritoneum, which covers the inner walls of the abdominal cavity and the surface of internal organs. It can cause irritation and stimulate the production of excess fluid. When a tumor spreads to the liver or a vein that carries blood to that organ, the patient’s blood pressure may rise, which in turn can lead to leakage of proteinaceous fluid from the liver and intestines, leading to accumulation around the stomach.
“In this case, ovarian cancer blocks the lymphatic system, and lymph can begin to accumulate around the stomach,” explained the experts.

Of course, sometimes these symptoms can indicate digestive problems. Nevertheless, if you suddenly feel that your stomach has suddenly become elastic and swollen – see a doctor! Don’t waste time – later it might be too late!
